Esmeralda, a short story by the popular British playwright and novelist Frances Hodgson Burnett, has been translated into Turkish for the first time by Ran Kitap. Narrated by film and theater actor Erdem Akakçe, this short book tells the story of an American family living in Paris and the culture clashes they experience while trying to move up in class through the eyes of the private French tutor they hire for their young daughter Esmeralda.
